The awards celebrate and recognize outstanding achievements and contributions in our community. There is a total of 13 award categories to choose from, including the highest honour that can be bestowed, the prestigious Order of Cochrane, presented by Cochrane’s mayor and council.

It’s now easier than ever to nominate by using the online nomination form. The option to nominate by completing and submitting a paper application form is still available. Look for more information, and a nomination form at www.ccawards.ca

The Cochrane Community Awards program is overseen by a committee of local representatives including: educators, seniors, businesses, sustainability champions, the Cochrane and District Chamber of Commerce and the Town of Cochrane. Volunteers from the community are an integral part of the annual awards. The program is funded through sponsorship from local businesses and groups who recognize the value in activities that encourage making Cochrane a vibrant place to live.  Nominations are submitted by members of the community as well as the Nominations Committee, made up of community members and previous award recipients. Award recipients are determined by the Selection Committee, made up of the organizing committee and award recipients from previous years. Nominees in all categories are recognized at the awards ceremony.

Awards will be presented Sunday May 27, 2018 at the Cochrane RancheHouse.
